Resource Description

In this workshop I will be relating the terms and perspectives of Process-oriented Psychology to - what I perceive to be - current trends and the cutting edge in the rest of the psychotherapeutic field, especially regarding traumawork, neuroscience, the re-integration of the body, integration in general and the relational movement (or is it a fashion?). This may offer us a chance to connect with emergent processes in the field without compromising POP's principles (e.g. connect 'dreaming up' with the 'countertransference revolution' in psychoanalysis including projective identification and enactment). In terms of meta-skills, this may include a look at habitual therapeutic positions and preferred archetypal stances which therapists take or avoid (in themselves and across the diverse therapeutic approaches).
